October 21st Right Approach Is Critical When It Comes to Addiction Problem

Oct. 21, a national expert will tell you that the critical “at risk” period for addiction is adolescence – with 90 percent of addicts initiating between the ages of 12 and 25. He will share the best research about what to do about the addiction threat as well as treatment.
Dr. Tom McLellan, a leading researcher on addiction, is the CivicCon speaker on Monday, Oct. 21, at The Rex Theatre at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (Note that this is an hour later than the usual CivicCon start time.)
